Education and coaching, grantees receive more than a grant from GW.

Grantee Fellows

How many ways do we interact with our grantees? The Annual Meeting, one-year Report Outs, Grantee Fellowship, and Grantee Coaching are our main vehicles for both learning and teaching across the GIVING WoMN year.

In addition to receiving a grant from GIVING WoMN, GW grantees become a valuable part of the education journey for our members. After grantees are announced in February, our grantees are invited to our spring Annual Meeting to tell GW how our funds will be used by the organization.

Grantee Highlights from our Annual Meeting

Each grantee gives a short presentation about their organization its goals and how the GW grant will be used. This night is always fun, eye-opening and joyful. We get to meet our grantees and learn more about the myriad needs in our community and our neighborhoods.

The following year, we invite our grantees to Report Out to our membership virtually or at small group gatherings in a member’s home.

We also welcome our grantees to participate in our Grantee Coaching Process. This is a year-long mentoring program that matches our grantees with volunteer members within the organization.
